Sanderson and Homes & Gardens held a Reader Day at Bowood House on Wednesday 2nd May. The VMPR team managed the planning and execution of this successful partnership activity, liasing with both the client and the magazine team to ensure maximum attendance and smooth running of the day.
Almost sixty guests traveled to the beautiful setting of Bowood House, Wiltshire, where they were treated to a presentation by curtain makers Merrick & Day, followed by a glass of champagne on the terrace of the estate golf club and a two course meal in a suite decked out in the latest Sanderson fabrics.
The afternoon was spent taking a tour of Bowood House and a walk in the stunning rhododendron gardens, in full bloom on a beautifully sunny day. Afternoon tea was taken in the Bowood House cafe, as guests were treated to a presentation of vintage
floral fabrics by archivist Sue Kerry, and a sneak preview of the new Sanderson Autumn/Winter collection by Design Director, Liz Cann.
The exclusive goody bag included two Sanderson print mugs by Churchill China, new Sanderson brochures, the Curtain & Blind Bible created by Sanderson/Homes & Gardens and a copy of the latest issue of the magazine.
