At this year's Homes & Gardens Fabric Awards Breakfast, VMPR clients had been shortlisted in three categories: Best Outdoor Fabric (Jim Thompson), Best Wallpaper (Sanderson) and Best Printed Fabric (Zoffany). The awards ceremony took place over breakfast in the State Apartments of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. Introduced by Giles Kime, Liz Jones gave an introductory talk on the research behind this year's awards and trends in buying and decorating. The awards themselves were presented by Deborah Barker, editor of Homes & Gardens. Botanique from the Archive Print 3 Collection by Zoffany was the first to win; the award was collected by Design Director, Liz Cann, on her birthday; she later collected the Best Wallpaper award for 'Etchings and Roses' from the Parchment Flowers collection - an excellent birthday present. Jim Thompson was announced the winner in the OUtdoor Fabric category with 'Surf' from the Andaman Collection and the award was collected by Philip Cadle of Fox Linton.
