On Wednesday 17th September, Ligne Roset Westend unveiled some upholstery in a pixellated fabric designed exclusively for the store as part of the London Design Festival.

Robert Hasty approached Cristian Zuzunaga to collaborate on the design, having seen his work at the RCA show the previous year. The Pas Si Classique uphosltery group and Sala dining chairs were selected as the first items to be upholstered in this special fabric.

The furniture was installed in the showroom and an afternoon tea for press, interior designers and customers was held on Wednesday 17th September as a launch party. Sponsored by Whittard of Chelsea, whom also designed a bespoke tea for the event, a tea tasting was provided as well as champagne and cubist cakes in brilliant colours. The event was a great success and was well attended by press and designers alike.
