31.01.08 | VMPR clients at Maison et Objet, January 2008
Maison et Objet, 25th - 29th January 2008, was an extremely exciting time for our clients. Zoffany/Sanderson, Jim Thompson, Ligne Roset, Lladro and The Bradley Collection had stands in the 'Editeurs' and the 'Now! design a vivre' sections.
With each client launching at least one new collection, the exhibition was busy for both press and trade clients alike. Zoffany launched four new collections: Fleurs Rococo Weaves, Fleurs Rococo Wallpapers, Bargello weaves and Verlaine; whilst Sanderson launched Country Linens Prints, Honfleurs Wallpapers and Velluti Weaves. Their stand also featured lighting from Besselink & Jones and poles from The Bradley Collection.
Jim Thompson launched Angkor, In Wonderland and Great Escapes as well as Ottomania, a new No.9 Thompson collection by Richard Smith and a furniture collection designed by Ed Tuttle.
Ligne Roset's 2009 collection comprised an exciting mix of Bauhaus, 1970s and Fractal Design trends which included an exciting collaboration with the design icon, Pierre Paulin. The collection also shows a development in research within the company: space and energy saving but also sourcing new materials and designers and readdressing the functionality of products.
The Lladro stand showed some fabulous collaborations with designers Bodo Sperlein with the Ascot collection and the British design duo Committee with the ReCyclos III collection; as well as a fantastic inhouse collection, Naturofantastic.
Maison et Objet saw the international launch of Elysian for The Bradley Collection; a highly contemporary and trend focussed range of poles and finials designed with fashion and luxury in mind.
